It is my honor and privilege to invite you for the Longevity prayer festival in dedicating for Lord of Refuge Vajradhara, Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. I joyfully invite all of Rinpoche's students, and in particular those residing in North America, to participate in long life prayers from July 20th through July 27th, 2013.
At the conclusion of this drupchen, Body, Speech and Mind offerings will be made requesting Rinpoche to guide us with his lotus feet remaining firmly planted in this world realm.
The drubchen will use the longevity sadhana known as the "Union Of Upaya And Prajna", a 17th century terma. This extraordinary practice for overcoming obstacles to long life is one of the three main cycles of termas revealed and is used in both the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages.
Anyone wishing to enhance or establish a fortunate connection with Rinpoche is welcome to join in this wonderful event to engender and offer great merit, with the dedication for the stability and longevity of Rinpoche's life.
