Zambala is the Possessor of Merits.
Yellow Dzambhala (Tibetan: dzambhala serpo): The God of Wealth, he is the manifastation of Buddha Ratnasambhava. This is the yellow Jambhala, yellow in colour, he is adorned with a crown, jewel and gold ornaments and silk garments, seated imperially in the center of the multi-coloured lotus throne, steped on a white conch shell. With left hand in the stoat a jewel keeping in mouth and right hand the morni, with the jewel earring and jewel necklace, he is exposing his chest and abdomen, the aura and lucky cloud surrounded on the sides.
If one offers with a sincere heart, one will receive Zambala's blessings. One then accumulates causes for happiness of gods and men, obtains good fortune, transforming failure to success and gets uncountable benefits.
In this period of deterioration, people strive for selfish aims, gaining at the expense of others and insatiably lusting for more.
The compassion Buddha, in wanting to eliminate sentient beings' sufferings and to benefit them, has taught many methods for accumulating merits.
If one can hold the Boddhisattava as one's motivation in heart as one practises Giving, one will then accumulate merits for Wisdom and Means simultaneously. This aids us along our path towards Enlightenment. Benefiting oneself and others at the same time, why then should we not practice the Perfection of Generosity?

黃財神為總持一切功德之大護法
黃財神，藏名為『藏巴拉色波』，是掌財富之大護法，為南方寶生佛所化現。黃財神身金黃，頭戴五佛寶冠，一面二臂，肚大身小，坦胸露腹，雙臂具大力，右手持摩尼寶珠（布拉噶），左手持口吐各種珍寶之吐寶鼠，身著天衣，以藍色蓮花及珠寶瓔珞為嚴飾，胸掛唸珠。左足屈，右足踩著白色海螺天寶，以如意姿安座於蓮花月輪之上。五彩吉光祥雲圍繞。
只要能以虔誠之心供養修持黃財神，必獲其加持庇佑；從而具足世間、出世間一切因緣福報，財源廣進，化險為夷，轉敗為勝，而得無盡利益功德。
末法時期，世人為私利所困、為忌羨他人富貴所苦、為貪欲所累；因此佛陀發大慈悲心、傳教了許多成就功德利益之法，以度化世間有情之苦難折磨。如果我們能發無上菩提心，廣開悲心善願、勤行布施，必能積聚福德智慧二資糧，而得邁向開悟大菩提道，成就利己利人之無量功德。此為依『布施波羅密』法門而成就功德之殊勝大法，虔敬修持必獲大加持、大利益、得大福報。
