Special Prayers for H.H Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche (Monlam and Lamp Offering prayers on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at 7pm.)

H.H Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche, Ngawang Chökyi Lodrö (1923-2011), head of the Nyingma order, entered parinirvana at the age of 88 on September 2 and remained in thukdam until September 5 at Thupten Chöling, his monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche was born in Lho Talung, Tibet in 1923. He was recognized at the age of four by Abbot Ngawang Tenzin as the reincarnation of his root lama, Trulshik Tendru Dorje.

Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche was considered the spiritual heir of several high Nyingma lamas such as Dudjom Rinpoche and Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche.

As a mark of respect for one of the greatest teachers of our times, Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche, and to pray for his quick rebirth, Kyabjé Thrangu Rinpoche and Sangha members of Thrangu Monastery Canada will be performing Monlam and Lamp Offering prayers on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at 7pm.

We invite all Dharma Students to join us in this acknowledgement and prayers for the swift rebirth of Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche so that all beings may receive and benefit from his teachings in the future.
