Thrangu Monastery would like to thank you for attending Tomb-Sweeping Festival Prayers (Prayers for the Deceased) on April 5, 2011.
Through offerings to the three jewels, reciting mantras and prayers, and dedicating the merits to the deceased, we believe that deceased could be reborn in the Pure Land of the Amitahba Buddha and achieve enlightenment as quickly as possible. By performing the pujas and prayers, family members and friends who are left behind can also accumulate a lot of merits through their offerings of flowers and lights and paying respects to the deceased.
