The news of the earthquake in Nepal earthquake caused us great sadness and shock. Thousands of people have been affected by the earthquake, and we take this time to send our prayers to each and every one of them.
Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and Thrangu centres' monks, nuns, and students are safe. However, many buildings were destroyed and some people were injured. Basic supplies and food will be needed in the upcoming months. We are in the process of raising funds to help the monasteries' communities as well as others in need. We will further update you when we are able to accept donations.
As there are many Thrangu as well as Kagyu centres there, Dungse Lama Pema has travelled to Nepal to help with the aftermath of the disaster. His teachings will be postponed until his return. Thank you for your support and understanding.
